Comments
Comments: We made a 10 mile loop, and we could have eliminated the road walk with a car spot but it was only 2.5 extra miles and downhill. Not much to say about the first two peaks, uninteresting but pleasant and remote feeling. The area around Griffith Lake was really nice, with the longest continuous section of bog planks I've ever seen, though the ground was dry in this season. The Griffith Lake trail was in decent shape, with some machinery parked making improvements, adding gravel etc. A little bit of mud. The short bushwhack to Tabor was rather unpleasant in tall hobblebush but I did it in shorts with no scratches. There might be some slight views when the leaves are down. Fun seeing familiar names in the jar. The next day we did a short 5-mile hike up and back to Bromley for great views.
