Nice well graded paths for easy walking. Pretty woods and The Pogue is a pretty little body of water. Only saw a few people once we got away from the visitor center. The carriage roads, Mountain Road and Mt. Tom Road are well constructed and wide on the summit the iron posts to tie your horses to still stand. The re-bar and cable railings are something else on the top of the of Faulkner Trail, and oh so many switchbacks to provide for an easy grade all the way down to the edge of town. Nice day out with Carey and a fun time apre at the Long Trail Brewery. |
