Comments: Macedonia Ridge (Blue Trail)

I went counterclockwise. Most of the ground was frozen when I started with minimal mud. About a mile in there was significant ice on the trail so I put on my microspikes and it was no problem. On the last half mile, there was a significant amount of mud and I hadn't brought my poles so I slipped and fell twice! Would definitely bring some poles with mud baskets just for the more heavily trafficked start of the trail. Happy Hiking!
