The lot is not large and it's not clear how to park efficiently, but there were no other cars there upon arrival and only one other on departure. The unpaved roads leading in were in excellent condition. |

Several older blowdowns appear to have long-term reroutes. Most of the trail is totally fine condition, well-blazed, and easy to follow. |

Fire tower with excellent views!
This trail and peak is one of the many options on the August-October SPNHF hiking challenge.
About 3 miles out-and-back, with 1300-1400 feet of elevation gain with no particularly steep sections. |
