Comments
Comments: What a spectacular day! Steve drove so we could have less cars to park and Dave made incredible time to all meet up this morning. The rain from last night made everything wet so the rocks and roots were slick but overall the footing is lovely on this hike. We had done our research and had a gps track as a back up but really only used it to to double check ourselves a few times. The herd path is pretty easy to follow. It will disappear from time to time but is picked back up in a bit. It's tight above the Nubble and thanks to the rain we had a pretty good car wash going on. Watch your head and eyes in places and expect to take a few branches to the face. We made good time to the summit of PATN and found the little view point at the top where we snacked and oohed and ahhed over the beautiful views and clouds. This is one that makes our project seem like a really good idea. Great way to spend the morning with a super fun crew. We sure missed Amy though!
