Angled right outta the first clearing and up into the woods, crossed the snowmobile trail and angled up SE to the summit of Mt Misery, 1/2 hour from car to canister. Angled SW and followed a shelfy contour down thru and across the snowmobile trail a little ways above the 90* fork. Followed old roads most of the way up and then just straight shot up the fall line and a few knobs to the South later found the canister on Towns. Really mossy, vegetative cliffy knobs down around the SE knob of towns, a steep staircase descent to cross the twin forks of the old road in the drainage. Crossed another old road and went straight up the fall line and angled up SW around some knobs to the summit of Mann Hill (truly the Mt Misery of the 3). Stay slightly farther to the NW on descent around the fall line, recrossed the old road and fell down into another swampy drainage. Angled back up into the clearing where the twin forks of the road merged and followed the snowmobile trail back to my car. Overall pretty open woods and felt like cupcakes after doing Scar ridge the previous day. |
