 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Zealand was nice and calm this morning. Coming back to get my car this afternoon made me feel like I was in a city trying to find a spot. North twin was jammed up for about a quarter mile after the bridge. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Streams were flowing but manageable on Zealand Trail, Little River on North Twin Trail was rock hoppable. Water has come a bit with the rain recently but crossed without too many questionable steps. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Twinway between Zeacliff and descent to Bondcliff trail could use some help with standing water after rain. High fives to the brushing done on West Bond Spur. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
All well behaved. |
 | Bugs: |
Only one early on. Shocked it was out flying. Reminded me to close my mouth. |

 | Comments: |
First off, a huge thanks to Chad for the car spotting idea. This led to an stress-free day out and not having to worry if my text went through to catch a ride. Boy did it rain hard last night and this morning. We’ve been pretty spoiled this summer with weather but the mud and standing water on the trails is back. Had a great time today and this is a new way to avoid the long walk out to Lincoln Woods. All reports were that Guyot Shelter water is flowing well. |
