Comments
Comments: I put on spikes for second water crossing due to ice on the dip down and back up, about 1 mile up the trail. About a quarter mile further, after the view, spikes the whole way. Monorail was solid in most places but softening and water is running underneath in spots, meaning this is an ice bridge that will soon collapse. Took Sosman over to the ski area as a side hike. Minor post holing here but not enough to make me put on snowshoes. I brought snowshoes but didn't use them. They would be helpful on Sosman as it softens up.
