Comments
Comments: Was hoping for more than Bondcliff & Bond but caught in a longer than anticipated thunderstorm after an early start. Spikes on around 2200 feet. 50 yards past the Step they weren't needed again until in the trees on Bond. It was raining hard enough (started in full as soon as I reached treeline) that I didn't want to stop and deal with them so made it to the top of Bond in bareboots. Dealt with a quick stop in what seemed like a monsoon to throw them on for descent of Bond after I'd had enough of what was way more rain and thunder than I was expecting. Almost cleared for me for about 5 minutes and then kept spitting rain moderately until I was back under 2000 feet or so. Met a pleasant gentleman who brought with him a few brief moments of sun--I appreciated it!

Carried snowshoes as I was planning on taking on Twinway out to South Twin and wasn't sure what I would encounter past Guyot. Not sure there was enough snowpack anywhere on Bondcliff Trail from Lincoln Woods to Bond that will require snowshoes in the future minus a few 20 yard sections in the deepest of the firs in the switchback(y) part of the climb up to Bondcliff.

The trail was in fantastic shape for a shoulder season walk minus the rain and thunder.
