Comments
Comments: Great day. Snow and ice bridges stable, but on the edge of being unstable. Four in our party; we saw three hikers, and one trail runner (with her happy dog). Put on micro spikes early on with sections of hard ice, interspersed with sections of dry trail and some muddy areas, deep snow most of the last 1 mile or so. Top dry rock. Footing okay with spikes. Snowshoes not necessary; we left them in the car [yet the next sentence...]. Decent conditions due to very cold temps overnight, so likely to deteriorate once it warms.
Gorgeous views.
