Comments
Comments: Three Ponds trail was the quickest of the three and was the way out - solid ice with a layer of snow covering. The other two trails were mainly breakable crust with wet and sticky snow underneath. Shelter easily accessed. Snow depth no more than 3-4 inches. Racing or light snowshoes would make quicker work of all 3 trails.
