| Comments: |
Negligible snow accumulation at the gate parking lot, total of 1 dog walker and 3 hiking groups (2 other solo plus us) so plenty of parking. Road to trailhead is icy. <2500 feet a dusting with some ice patches = boots. ~2500 - ~3500 a few inches of snow = microspikes. ~3500 - 4500 Snow accumulation with minimally packed trail = snowshoes. Beautiful ice and snow on the trees at higher elevations due to the recent weather. |
