| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw three dogs including one who'd hiked far ahead of her owner, and turned around when meeting me. 20 minutes later, the dog happily reunited with its upset owner. PSA to doggos: stay near your humans, they worry about you! |

| Comments: |
Nice snowpack conditions, covering most rooks and rocks now, very little bare ground from the trailhead. Trail was fast, I barebooted the loop clockwise, only put on spikes for the descent from South Hancock, then took them off again at the Cedar Brook Tr junction on the way back. Compared with two weeks ago the water levels were very low, and some of the ice prone sections in the flats are now mostly covered with sticky snow. |
