Ascended via Polecat, took Wildcat Ridge Trail over to Wildcat A, then back over to just a bit below D, then bushwhacked over to the Polecat Trail (fairly open). New observation deck on D summit open - some treetops have been chopped off, revealing superb views of the fog. Old communications tower has been removed on D peak. Ski trails were wet from the drizzle. Wildcat Ridge Trail had slippery ledges and some decent sized mud pits from the drizzle. Very good foliage colors! |
