The ice pack is still bad, causing me to go to spikes well before the third crossing and the view spur. At the loop junction, I stayed straight (counter-clockwise) on Tecumseh and found happily that the final assault had good snow cover -- indeed, so good that I decided to reverse direction at the summit and descend back down the same way. The snow on the ski slopes is soft and thinning quickly. |
