There were a couple medium sized trees along the ridge that will require a medium saw or an ax. One is a duck under and the other has a short bypass. |

There is lots of ice along 19 Mile Brook Tr and between C Pk and Wildcat Col. Marlie handled it like a pro once she figured it out. |

19 Mile Brook Tr was about 3 miles of ice which put my dull microspikes to the test. Once headed up to A Pk I finally decided to use my G 10 crampons that I've had for 3 years. What a difference! I could walk straight up the trail, just had to remember not to drag my feet. Wildcat Ridge Tr was mostly packed frozen granular but had large ice flows coming down C Pk and in Wildcat Col. The climb up.to A Pk wasn't bad. It was nice traversing the ridge and chatting with Steve from Maine.
