Sucked it up and paid for the No Lift Hiker Pass to ascend via the ski slopes. At least a dozen people said hello and two stopped to ask me questions about hiking the ridge. I was pleasantly surprised to find 6-8 inches of fresh snow along the ridge. Where open, there was significant drifting. It was fun to break trail to Wildcat A. Sadly, snow were out numbered by barebooters so I expect it to be unconsolidated tomorrow. |
