Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Maybe.... Nothing too to hard for them. Wide roads and open woods. Not much running water for drinking.
Bugs
Bugs: They are out in force, but not biting. Was pretty bad when we stopped at the summits, with minimal wind to drive them away. Not really biting, yet, just very annoying.

Comments
Comments: Started walking down the road to a gated woods road / snomo section of Glass trail. Turned north at the next intersection. Continued along this this woods road (ridge trail) to a point west of Thompson. Roads were wide and easy to traverse, some running water and wet spots that were easy to get around. Bushwhacked to Thompson Summit in open woods, one short slightly steep section. Beautiful mossy summit. Lots of spring flowers out (Spring Beauty, yellow trout lily, Wild oats, some trilliums).

Proceeded back down, to the ridge trail, and right across into the woods heading to the summit of Pollard. To start, the woods were tighter, but not bad; wet under foot; and there was lots of evidence of moose activity. The woods opened up on approach to the flat summit. Took some searching across the flat hill top to locate the RHP and summit. Proceeded back down to an old woods road, and back to the ridge trail for the walk out retracing our steps back to parking.
