Comments
Comments: We parked at a pulloff where Burnt Hill Rd meets Cardigan Mt Road. Others parked along the side of the road. This adds 1.4 miles and ~500ft elevation (round trip) to the hike. One bathroom at the parking lot was open (the one closest to the parking entrance).

There were stretches of difficult-to-avoid slippery wet rock on West Ridge Trail, below the exposed summit section. Many muddy sections on both trails, partially avoidable.
