Comments
Comments: Nice adventure with few intrepid folks on windy & misty day. Eisenhower near summit was not fully broken & presented a challenge to navigate between 6’ snowdrifts with spruce traps, boot swallowing slush, & avoiding too much walking on alpine Veg, which we know is not cool. We did our best also not wanting to be SAR case with broken ankles. Kudos to Andrew for showing us how the real crazies get up the hill. Pierce to hut on AT & then cutoff got more tracks today, but still deep snow there. Maybe slow. Crawford path & connector nicely packed. You’re welcome, M, for this report ;)
